Massage Therapy
The intention of massage therapy is to relax the soft tissues, increase delivery of blood and oxygen to the massaged areas, warm them and help the body to relax.

Massage may be found to bring relief from every day aches, reduce stress, increase relaxation, address feelings of anxiety and tension and aid general wellness. It can also be used in support of other therapies to assist in rehabilitation of muscular injuries.
Clinical Massage Therapy
Combines and applies a range of techniques which can help to alleviate pain by manual manipulation of the soft tissues. These advanced massage techniques include trigger point, myofascial release and sport stretches which reduce pain quickly and effectively.

The aim of treatment is to reduce pain and increase movement in muscles and joints in anything from
1-6 sessions. I will also liaise appropriately with other professionals such as GPs, physiotherapists and osteopaths to give you the best possible care.
Clinical massage can help with the following :

•Back Pain
•Neck Pain
•Frozen Shoulder
•RSI (repetitive strain injury)
Headaches
• Migraines
•Whiplash
• Stress Related Conditions

Treatments

Aromatherapy Massage
Aromatherapy is a treatment designed to help maintain physical, emotional and spiritual well being by using the correct application of essential oils. Essential oils extracted from plants are thought to possess distinctive properties which may be used to improve overall emotional and spiritual health. Combining the oils with massage can promote improved health, ease pain, reduce stress and calm and relax the whole person
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue is a type of therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness and sore shoulders. Some of the same strokes are used as classic massage therapy, but the movement is slower and the pressure is deeper and concentrated on areas of tension and pain.
Indian Head Massage
An upper body massage that involves all the areas most vulnerable to stress and tension such as the upper back, shoulders, upper arms, neck, head and face. It helps with relieving tension headaches, eye-strain, sinusitis, stiffness, insomnia and disturbed sleep. It can be performed in the workplace as it does not involve undressing.
Swedish Massage
Probably the best known massage. Organic vegetable oils are used to facilitate the application of various massage techniques. Swedish massage uses firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension and encourage other health benefits.
Lava Shell massage
For an intensive back, neck and shoulder treatment this deep tissue massage uses heated lava shells to achieve a firm, deep pressure and treat deep rooted muscle problems. The radiating heat from the shells releases tension and leaves you feeling instantly stress free and rejuvenated.
Thai Foot Massage
It takes it's origins from China where the art has been practised for thousands of years. It has elements of Shiatsu, Reflexology, Chinese massage and Yoga incorporated into the massage itself and is said to stimulate activity of the internal organs.

There are many good massage therapists, but Claire is definitely in the exceptional category.  She works in a calm and ambient environment, making you feel relaxed and comfortable from the moment you arrive. She is extremely professional and also incredibly intuitive and skilled. She is extremely passionate about her work and takes great pleasure in creating amazing oil blends to suit all eventualities. She listens to your needs and conveys this through her hands using just the right pressure to suit your preference. I highly recommend Claire so don’t delay, call her today.

I attend Claire's to have my leg massaged. I have been suffering from swollen achilles tendons and the massage that Claire delivers has been the only thing that has helped with the swelling and the pain. Claire works methodically, altering the massage as she feels the problems in my legs. The massage is both relaxing as well as helping with the problem. I would recommend her to anyone looking at having a massage for a medical reason as well as for the relaxation.
